Esta es una tabla de los músculos de la anatomía humana.
Hay aproximadamente 640 músculos esqueléticos en el cuerpo humano típico, y casi cada uno de ellos está dispuesto en forma de un par de músculos bilaterales, a ambos lados derecho e izquierdo, dando así lugar a aproximadamente 320 pares de músculos, tal y como se presenta en este artículo. No obstante, el número exacto es dificíl de definir, ya que las diferentes fuentes agrupan los músculos de forma diferente; por ejemplo, considerándolos como partes diferentes de un mismo músculo o como varios músculos separados. Los ejemplos dan una variabilidad de entre 640 y 850.[1]
Los músculos del cuerpo humano pueden categorizarse en grupos que incluyen a los músculos relacionados con la cabeza y el cuello, músculos del torso o tronco, músculos de los miembros superiores, y músculos de los miembros inferiores.
La acción está referida a la acción de cada músculo desde la posición anatómica. En otras posiciones pueden realizarse otras acciones.
